Dear Friends,
In memory of our Founding President Architect Dr. Kadir Topbaş former mayor of Istanbul and UCLG President from 2010 until 2016 who passed away on February 13, 2021, we have recently opened an online book of condolences. Thanks to his leadership, UCLG-MEWA became an active organization in the region, and UCLG World Organization became an integral partner of the United Nations and the European Union. In this section of our website, we will publish the letters of condolences sent by you. Although we cannot share our grief standing side by side due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to remain in solidarity through this book of condolences.
We hope we will overcome these tough times all together.
